Purpose and scope
ProfitCalcTools publishes ecommerce planning tools and explanations for understanding an order, campaign or operating month. This collection shows how decisions change when assumptions change. It does not promise a sale, a ranking, platform approval or a guaranteed profit.
The site also offers website services and affiliate recommendations. Those activities are separate from the arithmetic. Reading these guides and using their example tools does not require following a commercial link.
Authorship and AI assistance
These guides are published under the ProfitCalcTools name. AI-assisted drafting and coding were used to create the explanations, structured scenarios and widgets. Numerical examples are fictional and accompanied by automated arithmetic tests.
There are no invented analyst credentials, customer testimonials or claims of firsthand merchant outcomes. Automated checks are not an independent professional audit and do not verify every platform fee. Account-specific facts must be checked against provider records and current terms.
Sources and assumptions
Primary documentation is linked where a guide describes a provider's metric or fee categories. Worked tables add explicitly labeled assumptions. A familiar-looking percentage in a table is not a live quote unless clearly identified and sourced as such.
The primary references listed below support the fee-category and metric definitions used in the guides. Where rates depend on country, product or account, the guide explains the limitation rather than asserting a universal amount. A promotional discount never substitutes for the provider's current pricing and eligibility rules.
Dates and substantive changes
A preparation date identifies when this collection was assembled, not when every fee across the site was audited. Publication and modification dates, when shown, refer to the individual page. A styling update must not overwrite an original publication date or be described as a new financial review.
Formula and assumption changes should be recorded with the affected page. The objective is reproducibility, not an appearance of freshness.
Commercial independence
Affiliate links may earn a commission for ProfitCalcTools. They should be identified and remain distinct from calculator results and official references. A partner badge identifies that particular relationship; it does not mean the partner certifies every calculation or endorses every recommendation.
These guides remain useful without a commercial click. Affiliate relationships do not change the formulas or determine whether a scenario shows profit or loss. The site's Affiliate Disclosure explains its broader commercial disclosures.
Correction requests
Use Contact with the exact page, input values, expected output and supporting calculation or reference. For a fee issue, identify marketplace, country, product category and whether the source is public documentation or an account-specific quote.
Remove private data from screenshots. Never submit passwords, customer records or payment-card details. A correction request does not mean one account's negotiated fee should become the default for everyone.
Limits
The content does not establish legal, tax or accounting treatment, marketplace eligibility or future campaign profitability. Use current agreements and seek suitable professional advice for decisions extending beyond a planning calculation.
Primary references
These references explain provider metrics or cost categories. The guides’ dollar tables are hypothetical examples, not current fee quotations.
Replace the example assumptions with your own costs. Check field definitions before comparing results.
